Bruges is proud to welcome the 28th edition of the ‘European Distance and E-learning Network (EDEN)’-conference from 16 until 19 June 2019. VIVES University of applies sciences (Bruges campus) will host the annual and international conference. More than 310 international participants with expertise or interest in innovative education from 46 different countries will join the conference.
VIVES is a pioneer and market leader in Flanders for distance learning with more than 2500 bachelor's students following a study program in distance education.
During the conference there is the opportunity to share experiences about research and educational practice with each other and to enricher each other’s insights. The theme of the conference is "Connecting through educational technology". The principal conference sponsor is Televic, with additional conference sponsors Foursevens, Blackboard, Simulise, Signpost, Standaard Boekhandel and Stad Brugge.
