't Brouwershuys

't Brouwershuys is one of the oldest buildings on Walplein and has been the home of successive brewing families for centuries. This seventeenth-century building is protected as a monument because of the remarkable murals drawn on canvas by Phieras in 1835. Today it is a unique meeting and event venue. The space has coffee facilities, lunch is on request and the beers Brugse Zot (Bruges' Fool) and Straffe Hendrik are always cold courtesy of Brewery 'De Halve Maan'.
